Open Door’s Craft Room and Craft Café bring together the perfect mix of creativity, social contact and cups of tea!
The Craft Room and Craft Café provide welcoming creative spaces to share and learn new skills.
What is the difference between the Craft Café and Craft Room?
Not a lot! The main difference is the location and that one group runs in a café environment, with a greater choice of paid refreshments and the other is in a hall. Both groups provide craft activities for you to engage in; or you can bring your own project with you. We welcome all skills and abilities.
Who can attend?
The Craft Café and Craft Room are open to adults. We welcome social prescribing. Please contact us in advance if you are a support worker or enabler, so we can provide the best welcome.
Is there a cost?
Our groups are free to attend, however, we do ask for donations towards craft resources. The Craft Café also charges for drinks and cake.
During school holidays, please contact us to find out which craft groups are running.
